We suppose that iPhone’s recent release on Verizon makes it understandable why Wired and CNN are publishing research on which network, Verizon or AT&T, is faster with the iPhone 4.

But really, considering that faster 4G networks are already up and running, and given Apple’s propensity to frequently update their hardware, isn’t this really a review of already outdated technology?

But we just got a MyTouch 4G from T-Mobile and in our opinion Apple current generation of iPhone has a lot of catching up to do. So why bother with an outgoing technology when the next generation is available?
If you must have an iPhone but are worried about a new model coming out right after you buy we suggest waiting. Because a faster 3G network is still not up to today’s standard 4g network technology.
