Everyone’s looking for a way to get around the Netflix price hike. Mostly because they want more TV and movie selection from the digital streaming options.
It could turn out (was it planned?) that the consumer demand for more digital movies and the additional revenue Netflix is asking from consumers for downloadable content will provide just the leverage Netflix needs to negotiate more and faster releases from the movie studios and television on content producers and distributors.
