cell phone use in hungary?

Hey, I am going to Hungary and I was wondering what is the most affordable way to have a phone. ATT give me an international plan that has text, data for $40 and a 99 cent/minute phone rate on my IPhone. I also have a Tmobile blackberry that takes sim card but not sure how many minutes you get for the chargeable ones. It only say price. Anyone?

If that offer has a flat fee for data use for however long, I think it is a good thing.
99 cent/minute is rather high, but if you hardly ever make a call that is not too bad.
You can buy a local sim to call locally and use your Iphone for data.
On the other hand, if the Data is not a flat fee for the time you are in Europe, but an amount per time or per a fixed amount of Data, do not use it.
In that case, only use your Iphone for Wifi where available and block all its other connections for the duration, use a local sim for calls and do without internet at your fingertips for a while.

Non-iphone apple phones?

there is an iphone with a physical, slide-out keyboard in the international markets. i KNOW this phone exists, i have held it in my hand. it has apple logos, runs the apple operating system, EVERYTHING. i work at a radioshack in texas and have seen not only this but another apple-branded phone from the international markets that have keyboards (the 2nd wasn’t iphone style but instead was very flashy, ran on tmobile, and used 2 sim cards) but simply do not exist on apple’s site. have been looking off and on for these phones for months, could anyone else possibly find em?

There is NO iphone like you describe…..there is iphone CLONES that are made in China like you described
